Privacy policy

1. About this policy

This policy explains how Traxconn Technology handles information through this website, its enquiry forms, and newsletter signup. Our services cover business websites, eCommerce websites, custom websites and web applications, and iOS and Android mobile apps.

Client websites and apps have their own data-handling arrangements. Features shown on our service and showcase pages are examples. They do not mean this website runs those services or collects their users’ information.

2. Contact form information

The Contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. A phone number is optional. We use these details to understand your enquiry and reply to you.

3. Quote request information

The Request a Quote form requires your name, email address, chosen service and project description. A phone number is also required if you choose phone or WhatsApp as your preferred contact method.

You may provide a company name, preferred contact method, estimated budget, desired timeline and current website address. Optional service-specific questions cover website pages, content management, products, payments, delivery, inventory, accounts, integrations, workflows, user roles, reporting, mobile platforms and app features.

These answers help us discuss your project. Please do not provide real customer records or payment details. Share only information needed for the enquiry that you are authorised to provide.

4. How we use information

We use the information you submit for the following purposes:

  • Responding to enquiries and contacting you using the details and preferred method you provide.
  • Preparing quotations, discussing requirements and planning requested development or support services.
  • Providing agreed services and communicating about your project.
  • Managing a newsletter subscription that you request separately.
  • Preventing spam and automated abuse, applying submission limits and maintaining site security.

5. Email and temporary form storage

Our server processes contact and quote forms and sends them to our business mailbox through an SMTP email provider. Your name and email address are included so we can reply. Email providers handle delivery and mailbox storage.

The website may temporarily keep form details on the server in session storage. This lets it restore your input after validation or delivery fails and show feedback. Enquiries are sent as emails; the forms do not create a separate enquiry database.

An enquiry does not automatically sign you up for the newsletter. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information through these forms.

6. Newsletter subscriptions and Mailchimp

The footer newsletter form collects your email address. Our server sends it to Mailchimp to manage the mailing list and subscription status. Depending on the signup setup, new subscriptions may start immediately or need email confirmation.

Signing up keeps an existing contact’s subscription status. It does not automatically resubscribe an address that has unsubscribed. Mailchimp handles subscription information through its service. Use the unsubscribe option in a newsletter or contact us to stop receiving newsletters.

7. Cookies and website language

The website uses a session cookie and a security token cookie to help forms work, prevent unauthorised submissions, show temporary feedback, and restore input after a failed submission. Session records on the server may include your IP address and browser identification details. IP addresses also help limit repeated submissions.

The page URL determines whether you see English, Simplified Chinese, or Bahasa Melayu. Switching language changes the URL and reloads the page. It does not keep unsent form drafts. The site does not save a separate language preference in cookies, local storage, or a session.

You can manage cookies in your browser. Blocking them may stop forms and temporary feedback from working. External providers’ own policies cover cookies or similar technologies they use independently.

8. Google reCAPTCHA v3

Google reCAPTCHA v3 helps protect quote requests, contact enquiries, and newsletter signups from spam and automated abuse. Our server checks a verification token before processing a submission.

Google may use technical and interaction information to assess abuse risk, including IP addresses, browser or device details, and cookies. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to reCAPTCHA. Google controls its own processing and data-handling practices; we do not control them.

9. Hosting, external resources and links

Hosting and email services process information needed to run this website and deliver enquiries. Your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts. These requests may share your IP address, browser information, and details about the request with those providers.

External links, including social profiles, take you to independently run websites with their own privacy policies. Connections used in client projects have separate data-handling arrangements from this website.

10. Project invoicing and payments

Our FAQs explain paying invoices through Stripe after accepting a quote, or by bank transfer. These payments are arranged separately from the website’s enquiry forms. This website has no checkout, and its forms do not collect payment-card details.

If you use an external invoice or payment service, that provider handles payment information under its own privacy notice. Confirm any billing details needed for your project through the quotation or invoice process.

11. Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. We use it for the purposes described here and share it with services needed to handle enquiries, run the website, or manage requested subscriptions. Any extra access or sharing for a project should be agreed for that project.

The website keeps temporary form input in session storage, rather than as a permanent enquiry record. Emails and newsletter records may remain in the relevant mailboxes or provider systems. How long they stay depends on the enquiry, project needs, and applicable requirements. This policy does not set one retention period for all records.

External providers may process information outside Malaysia. Their locations and storage arrangements depend on the service. This website does not determine all of those arrangements.

12. Security and privacy requests

Form checks, security tokens, submission limits, and server-side reCAPTCHA verification help protect the website. No website, email service, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Contact us with questions about your information or to request access, corrections, deletion, or an end to newsletters. Provide enough detail to identify the enquiry or subscription, without unnecessary sensitive information. We consider requests based on the records involved and applicable requirements. This page does not promise immediate deletion from every provider system.

13. Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy when website features or information-handling practices change. The current version will be on this page.
